FisherBoozer
June 2, 2007
Fourth quarter, the Jazz season nearing the end. Carlos Boozer approached teammate Derek Fisher, who has been spending time away from the team while his daughter gets medical treatment. They were right in front of me. I stood up from my floor spot and took three or four frames and it was over that quick.
I knew what Boozer was saying to him. It was obviously a statement of support. Something like, “No problem that you missed the first half. Your family’s more important. I hope things are going well.”
But I didn’t hear what he said. So I have no idea. Just an impression.
