Jazz vs Spurs Game 1: Arrival

Flew into San Antonio last night. Got some food. And then, to prepare for tomorrow’s big game, I went to bed early to get some good rest. No, just kidding. I stayed up late eating raspberry cheesecake and watching The Larry Sanders Show on my laptop.
In the morning, I wandered over to check out the free breakfast at the Marriott where we are staying. But it was just too crowded with people making their own waffles and coffee. I got a drink of apple juice and quickly left. I didn’t feel like eating with my fellow “campers,” as Steve calls them.
Now we’ve arrived at the arena. To capture the fun of that experience, strap on a fifty-pound backpack and walk a mile in a parking lot. Then we’re through a bunch of long hallways, to finally arrive at this luxurious setup: the photographer “workroom.” It’s really nothing more than a bunch of tables with power strips surrounded by black curtains. This is my new home:
